女子向員警表示，其攜帶的現金55萬元為公司所收之帳款，正準備將現金帶至農會存入，因中途想確認所攜帶之金額是否正確，才將機車停在路旁。
員警確認該女子並非遭歹徒詐騙，並提醒「錢財不露白」觀念後，所長吳牧勳、警員陳春榮主動協助該女子將巨額現金護送至金融機構，該女子對於警方積極熱忱的服務態度表示肯定，並深感謝意！
斗六警分局長蔡詳忠表示，警察對於社會上各種危害，有事先設法防止及事後妥善處理之責，對於所長吳牧勳、警員陳春榮積極幫忙民眾護鈔服務表示讚許，員警能主動發現民眾需要並提供協助，以免民眾錢財露白引起歹徒覬覦，二人機警值勤的態度殊為警察同仁表率。
